Default Ho'onoponopono

I started this meditation yesterday when I was experiencing a lot of shame and fear. I have continued it today. I have been weepy all day -- not depressed but fairly sad.

Is this normal?

Default Hooponopono Meditation

Hello Alexis,
thank you for your question.
What you experiencing is a proof that you are doing it correctly. So congratulations!
The inner cleaning process uncovers layers and layers of "stuff" that needs to go out of you. What was suppressed and pushed down for years and eons - started to come out. In your case these are feelings of shame and fear - other people might feel sudden anger or even laughter.
Just like the wound that needs to be cleaned before healing - you are experiencing this process with your inner being.
And just like with wound - you need to continue the cleaning process to help inner healing to take place. Whatever you are doing - keep doing it and the inner and outer progress will gradually take place.

This is good. It may be unpleasant - but this is the way to light and love.

Default Glad to hear it

Gleb:

Thank you very much for your response. May I ask, does it matter if one sings it ones's mind. There is a Ho'onopononpono song by Aman Ryuseke Seto that has gotten stuck in my mind. Recently I have begun to think that my spirit guides speak to me thru songs that seem to come out of some distant memory, even though sometimes the words elude me.

I listened to this Aman Ryuseke Seto song last night on YouTube. It is very beautiful.

Thank you so very much for your encouragement. I am happy to know I am on track. I am inspired to continue.

Alll my best,
Alexis

Alexis,
Singing is good. Let it happen. Observe it and enjoy it

And keep cleaning. Use your favorite Ho'oponopono cleaning tool and do it as often as possible in relaxed and joyful way.

The light of your attention to yourself and your feelings already dissolving what needs to be dissolved.

Default Negative Programming?

Any thoughts as to Rev. Wingo's assertion that new research within the past eight years reveals constant repetition of the four phrases produces negative prgramming in the subconscious mind?

Alexis,
the best way to test everyone's assertions is not believe anything.
Prove it yourself to yourself either way.
If it doesn't work for you - don't do it. If it does - your own assertion is the most valid. You're the ultimate authority.

Hooponopono worked for me very nicely the very next day after I first discovered it. In some cases it slow (but very fundamental) transformation process - in some cases it works quickly.
Just keeping doing it and prove it to yourself.

Default On the third day...

The first day I began the practice of Ho'opnopono, deep feelings of shame, fear and loss dissipated almost immediately

On the second day, I was weepy and lethargic but fear and loss and demoralisation were distant memories. To understand how huge this was, is to know that I was born into unspeakable abuse from the cradle onward. Also, on the second day, for the first time in my entire life, I was able to get in touch with my inner child.

On the third day -- yesterday -- I awoke to an image of me standing on top of the world screaming the phrases out to the heavens. It was a beautiful image. For the first time in forever, I had a genuinely relaxed and happy day yesterday. I went to the library and engaged in genuine laughter with the librarian. I treated myself to Mexican food (a splurge for me due to over six months of unemployment). I came home and actually watched two movies and was actually present and laughed some more. My friend called me later and I did not have to pretend to be in high spirits.

I became attracted to this practice after hearing Dr. Len's story. I know he practised for three years and beyond and is now considered a shaman. Rev. Wingo addresses his Ho'oponopono phrases to "Dear Father." Being a practicing Buddhist for nearly 30 years, that struck a discordance within me. I have been addressing my phrases to my feelings, to the people who enter my consciousness and to the moon. NASA is due to bomb the moon on October 9th. (check out link below regarding the fact that astronauts found evidence of life on the moon for over 30 years; the video is of especial interest).

NASA moon bombing violates space law & may cause conflict with lunar ET/UFO civilizations

I sincerey hope that others will also use this practice to somehow prevent this proposed moon desecration.

My results to date have been phenomenal and immediate. Today I am once again filled with fear and anxiety but the shame, regrets and feelings of mortification are distinctly absent. I may not have as wonderful a day today, as yesterday, but I have had a taste and I'm sure there are more to follow.

I do not have the words to describe how grateful I am to have stumbled on to this practice, for this forum that provides a place for me to keep track of my progress and the generous encouragement and unconditional love it engenders.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

With my deepest respect and apprection,
Alexis

Thank you for sharing your feelings and progress.
Some phrases and "cleaning tools" of Hooponopono might feel totally weird for some people yet for others they will make wonders.

I personally use only "I love you" with occasional sprinklings of "Please forgive me, I am sorry, thank you".

I also discovered that consistent practice of Hooponopono makes it for a lasting and noticable transformation effects within me and in outside environment (which is only me anyways - we are all one).

Default Hail!

Thank you for sharing your practice, Dream Catcher!

I have often wondered if the reason that people in 12-step programs never fully recover or become cured of their addictions, is because they keep affirming their name followed by "I an (alcoholic or whatever).

I shared the Ho'oponopono practice with the head librarian at my local library. Yesterday she told me she was exoeriencing phenomenal results.

She wants to take me to a Reike workshop or something. Anybody has any thoughts or knowledge regarding Reike.

Thanks,
Alexis
